Frequently asked questions.
What can I expect during my first session?
Your first session will start with a comprehensive fitness assessment and a conversation about your goals, current routine, health history, and lifestyle. We’ll also do a short workout to assess your movement and fitness level. From there, I’ll build a personalized program tailored to you.
Do I need to be in shape to start personal training?
Not at all! I work with clients of varying fitness levels. My job is to meet you where you are, build your confidence, and help you progress safely and effectively.
How often should I train with you?
That depends on your goals, schedule and budget. Many clients train 2-3 times per week, but even one focused session per week will be effective when combined with a solid plan and accountability.
What are your terms of service?
Find my terms of service here.
What kinds of workouts do you offer?
I offer a range of training styles based on your needs - strength training, weight loss programs, mobility and flexibility work, post-rehab training, and general health and fitness. Every workout is customized to you.
Do you offer nutrition advice?
Yes - I provide general nutrition guidance to support your fitness goals, including habit coaching and meal planning strategies. I can help you build a healthier relationship with food you’ll be able to maintain long term, and make smarter choices aligned with your training.
What if I have an injury or health condition?
Safety comes first. If you have a current injury or medical condition, I’ll work with you and, if necessary, your healthcare provider to create a safe and effective plan that accommodates your needs and helps you improve without risking further harm.
How do I stay motivated?
That’s where I come in! I’ll keep you accountable, celebrate your wins, and adjust your plan to keep things fresh and challenging. We’ll also set realistic, meaningful goals together, so you’ll always have something to work toward
What’s your training style like?
Supportive, encouraging, and goal-driven. I’ll push you when you need it, but I also believe in building confidence and making training something you want to do, not something you dread. Expect a mix of challenge, support, and plenty of progress.
When are you available for training?
I primarily offer training between the hours of 6am and 3pm Monday to Friday. Potentially evenings through the week could be available as well if necessary but I have a personal preference for mornings and early afternoons.
How do I get started?
Just reach out through the contact form to start a conversation and see if we’re a good fit. Otherwise, if you’re feeling ready, get a package of sessions and let’s get right to it! There’s no risk to you, if after our first couple sessions you think the vibes are off, let me know and I’ll give you your money back.
